These tools are in the Business group of the left menu, the same for every business type.

The common groups (Sales, Purchases, Finance, People, Business, Settings) are the same for every business and are explained in Getting started.

🚀Day-1 setup

Do these once, in this order, before your first day of work.

Set reorder levels
  1. On each product set Reorder at. Items at or below it show as Running low.

🛠️Everyday tasks

Click a heading to open or close it. Steps are numbered in the order you press.

Change prices fast
  1. In the product list click a Cost or Selling price — type the new price and press Enter. It saves at once (Esc cancels).
  2. To change many at once, tick the products (or the box at the top for all): a bar appears — Change selling price by % (e.g. 10 up or -5 down), Move to category or Stop selling — then Apply.
Correct stock (damage, loss, own use)
  1. Stock & inventory → Adjust stock. Choose the item, location, Add to stock or Remove from stock and the reason.
Do a stock count
  1. Start stock taking → Start counting (optionally one category). Scan or type each item's counted quantity; leave uncounted items empty.
  2. Save progress any time. When done press Finish & correct stock.
Receive a batch with expiry
  1. Batches & expiry → Receive a batch: item, batch/lot number, expiry date, quantity. Expired stock can be Write off.
Add serial / IMEI numbers
  1. Serial numbers → Add serial numbers to stock — one per line, or scan one after another.
Move stock between branches
  1. Transfer stock → choose From and To, items and quantities → Move stock.
Buy by the carton, sell by the piece
  1. Open the item in Products → edit it. Under Cartons, boxes & strips add a pack: name (e.g. Carton), pieces in it (e.g. 24), its barcode and price (leave the price empty for pieces × piece price).
  2. Stock is always counted in single pieces. Buying 2 cartons of 24 adds 48; selling 1 carton takes 24 out.
  3. On a purchase or purchase order choose Item — Carton (24) and type the cost of one carton.
  4. At the POS, scan the carton barcode, or tap the item and choose Single piece or the carton. Bills and receipts show — Carton (24).
  5. Returns give back the same pack: returning 1 carton puts 24 pieces back.
Tip: Pharmacy: add a Strip of 10 to sell strips and loose tablets of the same medicine.
